• blokcopolymer [BP]: a mixture of 95% polypropylene with approximately 5% polyethylene;
• polyamide [PA] or nylon: very stiff, low UV resistance, hard-wearing, less frequently used;
• polyethylene [PE]: soft and supple, high UV resistance, hard-wearing, resistant to low temperatures;
• polypropylene [PP]: relatively cheap, somewhat stiff, infill of rubber granules diminishes the UV resistance in case of direct sunlight;
• monofilament: very hard-wearing but difficult to keep the fibre upright, therefore this has to be supported with infill material;
• fibrillated fibre: rapid-wear because there are more points of contact, great coverage of infill material that makes it less visible and avoids bouncing.
